How To Keep Your Knife Sharp
Yesterday in class Master Joe told us a really good story. — One day a king, while visiting a town went into a butcher’s shop and noticed while the butcher was working how really sharp his blade was. When the king asked him how he sharpened it, the butcher replied that he had never sharpened the blade. The reason it stayed so sharp is that when he got to the boney/grisley/difficult parts, he slowed down and took his time to work through them slicing between the hard parts. The king thanked the butcher claiming that he had become enlightened by this.
