My drawing instructor, Victoria Suescum, at Austin Community College turned me onto colored glass bottles. I loved how they reflected themselves onto their shadows and the constant reflection for myself on what is seen through the glass and what is reflected back to me directly. It’s almost a zen study. One day I hope to be more stylistic in my approach but for now, I’m content to practice and to learn.
