I had this in my head for quite a while from a scene I saw in a movie. I just had this rush of smell and sound even though it was just a passing bit in a movie. I called it The Yellow Maker. I had been puzzling over the idea that maybe what I see as yellow is different from what other people see as yellow and how would anyone figure this out. Some people think the little character is a woman and some people think it’s a man and most assume that they are the yellow maker. But the fact is, we make yellow by seeing it and calling it that. But then who made us to see.
